ADOPTION CONDITIONS
We breed for quality sleddogs in order to complete our personal pack but we occasionally have puppies available for adoption. We also sometimes needs to find good homes for some adult dogs.
When we have puppies or adults available , we first prioritize the mushers interested .
Our dogs are now from sprint or mid-distance racing lines. So we made the decision to sell our puppies only to sports teams or very active people.
For all sports families wishing to adopt a Siberian Husky, our puppies are sold with a non-breeding agreement and must be sterilized at the age of 8 - 10 months (proof to this effect will be required). For any breeder or musher, reproduction rights will be discussed.
Our puppies are registered CKC (Canadian Kennel Club), they are examined by the veterinarian, vaccinated, dewormed and microchipped.
At the time of the adoption, by the age of 10 weeks, we provide the new owner with the puppy's health record, his pedigree, a five year written health guarantee, a starter kit and a sample of his usual food. In order to facilitate integration into future families, our puppies are fed with high-end dog food, but we strongly recommend well-balanced fresh raw food.
We care about our dogs's fate and that’s why we make a sale contract describing our responsibilities facing the new puppy owner, but also the owner's responsibilities facing his dog. (A contract can be provided on request and explained in detail)
We do not take reservations without meeting inquirers first to make sure of finding good adoptive families for our puppies.
If you are looking to add a Siberian Husky to your family for the first time , we strongly suggest you to do some research; read and interview other Husky owners to aquérir enough information about the breed.
